Best iPhone review ever!

People I gotta tell you; I loved this review of the iPhone by the people at arstechnica. They created a 15 page report filled with pictures and videos of their different tests. They even sinked the iPhone in the toilet for more than 30 seconds!!!.  I will continue to wait for the 2nd generation iPhone, when most of the 1G issues will be resolved and I will be able to use the iPhone with other carriers if I choose to.

There are a lot of things to love about the iPhone and a lot of things to hate. Accounting for every single usage pattern for the device is impossible, as everyone uses their phones in different ways, even among the techie community. What constitutes a deal-breaker for some of us may mean nothing to you, and some details that send you into a rage may not bother us as much (or at all). Even among those who contributed to the review, we had different perspectives on how we viewed our phones, and we used the phone differently from one another.

At the same time, this is a $500-$600 device. It's no minor investment. So, now comes the time for the dreaded conclusion, where the thousands of words we've written on the iPhone will now be subjected to the always-controversial numerical score.

The iPhone was given a juicy 8/10.
